Google is planning to build new cables for making faster connections.

Google will build new cable connections to meet the demands and provide faster internet connections. The new infrastructure will provide protections from different damages including shark attacks. It will also provide more security even better than today.
The new cable will run between the US, the UK, and Spain, and the project will end in 2022.
It has been named after computer scientist pioneer Grace Hopper. It is first-time Google has invested in the private subsea cable to the UK. It is also the first time Google has built a subsea cable route to pain.
