Scotland is developing its own contact-tracking app

Scotland is developing its own coronavirus tracking app.
On Thursday, Northern Ireland became the first part of the UK to deploy a contact-tracking app.
Both Scotland and Northern Ireland decided to adapt software already being used in the Republic of Ireland.
The contact tracking app is designed to track corona affected areas.

They work by logging when two people close to each other.
In May, Apple and Google updated its Mobile Operating System.
