TikTok has announced that It is planning to open a $500m data center in Ireland.
It will store messages, short videos, and other data generated by European Users from the short-form video-sharing app.Until now the data stores in the US and the backup files in Singapore.
TikTok made this announcement when Trump said that they will ban TikTok because of Chinese Ownership. They alleged national security risks on TikTok.
